"In what ways may disagreement aid the pursuit of knowledge in the natural and human sciences?"
I chose this because most paradigms and paradigm shifts are caused by disagreement which in turn leads to discoveries with solid evidence through the process of investigation. It is possible to apply this to apply this to many non-cliche examples.
"Can we know when to trust our emotions in the pursuit of knowledge? Consider history and one other area of knowledge"
A particular example I thought of when reading this title is stem cell research. This applies to natural sciences, being the ohter area of knowledge and it is also a non-cliche example. There are often topical debates on this issue as well as other science-related issues which usually causes a rift between science and religion, particularly the emotional side.
